Job description

Truck Mechanic
Are you the mechanic our client is looking for? Our client is looking for an experienced truck mechanic for their workshop in Kontich. Take charge of the maintenance and repair of their fleet’s trucks and trailers. Are you technically skilled and ready to step into a dynamic work environment?
What will you do?
Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.
Troubleshoot and fix breakdowns.
Carry out mechanical tasks, including hydraulics and electrical work.
Perform welding and other specialized tasks.
Ensure the proper functioning of vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (such as heavy vehicle, agriculture, or industrial mechanics).
Knowledge of general mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and welding.
Independence and strong problem-solving skills.
Technical expertise with trucks and trailers.
A hands-on attitude and attention to detail.
