The Teamleader Planning is responsible for the local production planning, order management, stock management and management of subcontractors, in order to guarantee deliveries to the customers. You will Proactively secure deliveries to the customers by assuring the right product is available on the right time in the right quantity and be the interface for daily supply chain operations. Your main activities will be: Production Planning: • Have the end responsibility of the daily local planning • Set daily & weekly planning targets aligned with Master planning, actual orders & stocks. Communicate to stakeholders at plant & BU level • Assure availability of raw materials, production capacity, storage capacity, packaging materials and others to successfully execute the planning • Proactively communicate on (expected) planning deviations • Secure most optimal planning sequence • Identify bottlenecks proactively & find solutions. • Manage the coproducts flow avoiding a non scheduled slowdown of the plant Order Management: • Manage orders in the pipeline allocated to the plant • Secure the order acceptance process in an agreed timeframe. • Assure accepted orders are executed as planned by implementing & following checks • Escalate when accepted orders cannot be executed as planned which will impact the customer. Find solutions with Control Tower. Stock Management: • Manage stocks locally & at external warehouses • Assure stocks are managed & reflected correctly in SAP • Secure correct stock classification • Build/reduce stocks in aligment with Masterplanners and stock targets • Keep clean stocks by taking action with where needed & reduce blocked stocks People Management: • Embrace a safety culture & be an ambassador on safety • Lead by example • Manage the local supply chain team (5) with close follow up, implement corrective actions where needed. Manage the yearly evaluation process. • Assure coworkers are trained & formed correctly • Network with supply chain colleagues in other plants and at BU level Operational Subco Management: • Be the operational SPOC for subcontractors (hauliers, warehouses, …) • Participate on request to evaluations of subcontractors Continuous Improvement: • Bring a spirit of continuous improvement to improve Supply Chain processes at plant level (local & other plants) and BU level • Together with the Local Supply Chain Manager own the Supply Chain Complaints allocated to the plant and bring improvements based on the complaints input.
