Are you an experienced landscaper with a passion for all things green? Do you enjoy working outdoors and find satisfaction in well-kept green spaces and perfectly maintained gardens? Then we're looking for you!
For our client in Kapelle-op-den-Bos, a family-owned business with approximately 50 employees, we are seeking experienced landscapers to help maintain a variety of projects throughout Flanders and Brussels.
Your responsibilities:
Maintenance of gardens, parks, and public green spaces.
Pruning trees, shrubs, and hedges.
Mowing lawns
Weed control
Caring for plantings
Performing seasonal maintenance work
When performing all of the above tasks, you will always ensure that everything is done to a high standard with an eye for detail.
Your Profile:
In this job, knowledge and experience are very important. Ideally, you have completed training in this sector, but if you have already gained practical experience as a landscaper or groundskeeper, that is also a plus.
Through your training or experience, you have a good understanding of landscape maintenance, pruning techniques, plant species, and more.
You have an eye for quality and detail, and you strive every day to deliver excellent work.
In the summer, you are expected at the company at 6 a.m., from where you will drive to the job site with your team. Starting early is therefore no problem for you.
A Class B driver's license is required for this job; if you also have a Class BE or C license, that's a big plus.
In this job, it's important to enjoy physical work and being out in the fresh air.
In terms of language skills, there are many opportunities in this role. If you speak Dutch, French, English, etc., fluently, you'll go a long way.
The criteria above are very important, but know that your motivation and your enthusiasm for the work are just as important.
You must be available to start between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. (spring and summer); you will typically return to the office around 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. In the winter, you will start later because it gets light outside later.
Offer:
This position offers the possibility of a permanent contract, provided you successfully complete a probationary period.
You will receive a competitive salary based on a pay scale, which will certainly take your experience, skills, and other factors into account.
In addition to your salary, you will also receive meal vouchers worth €9 per day worked, along with an additional meal allowance and a transportation allowance.
During the summer, you will regularly work overtime, which you can save up to take during the quieter winter months.
Furthermore, you will be joining a true family business where every employee counts!
