Job description

Are you an experienced landscaper with a passion for all things green? Do you enjoy working outdoors and find satisfaction in well-kept green spaces and perfectly maintained gardens? Then we're looking for you!

For our client in Kapelle-op-den-Bos, a family-owned business with approximately 50 employees, we are seeking experienced landscapers to help maintain a variety of projects throughout Flanders and Brussels.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of gardens, parks, and public green spaces.

  • Pruning trees, shrubs, and hedges.

  • Mowing lawns

  • Weed control

  • Caring for plantings

  • Performing seasonal maintenance work

When performing all of the above tasks, you will always ensure that everything is done to a high standard with an eye for detail.

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • In this job, knowledge and experience are very important. Ideally, you have completed training in this sector, but if you have already gained practical experience as a landscaper or groundskeeper, that is also a plus.

  • Through your training or experience, you have a good understanding of landscape maintenance, pruning techniques, plant species, and more.

  • You have an eye for quality and detail, and you strive every day to deliver excellent work.

  • In the summer, you are expected at the company at 6 a.m., from where you will drive to the job site with your team. Starting early is therefore no problem for you.

  • A Class B driver's license is required for this job; if you also have a Class BE or C license, that's a big plus.

  • In this job, it's important to enjoy physical work and being out in the fresh air.

  • In terms of language skills, there are many opportunities in this role. If you speak Dutch, French, English, etc., fluently, you'll go a long way.

  • The criteria above are very important, but know that your motivation and your enthusiasm for the work are just as important.

You must be available to start between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. (spring and summer); you will typically return to the office around 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. In the winter, you will start later because it gets light outside later.

  • This position offers the possibility of a permanent contract, provided you successfully complete a probationary period.
