Job description

For our client Volvo, an international automotive company, located in Ghent, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer Connectivity.
Your main responsibilities:
- You give technical support and solve hardware and electronic related problems for end-users, in your own language area.
- You give regular feedback on the supported products towards quality managers and developers.
- You handle the information from the market in such manner that repeated questions and problems from customers can be avoided.

Requirements

- A technical background, having a good understanding of for example Fleet Management Systems, transport solutions is a plus
- A great interest in automotive technologies and connected services
- The ability to understand en interpret technical documentation
- Good collaboration, communication and facilitation skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to picture the problem via remote discussions
- A natural feel for continuous learning
- A fluency in the following languages: English + at least one other European language.
After an intensive training program, you are willing to work in shifts.

For a distribution center near Sint-Niklaas, we are looking for a Quality Engineer. You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all products and processes in the distribution center, aligned with corporate requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.<br />You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of our products is guaranteed by focusing on temperature management processes (to be in line with inbound shipping, outbound shipping, and storage temperature requirements) and inspections related to regulatory requirements such as MDR/IVDR/Swiss regulations, UK regulations...<br />You will collaborate with other departments (such as supply chain, manufacturers, business units, regulatory affairs…) and will also be leading/participating in various quality assurance projects in line with, but not limited to, temperature management and MDR/IVDR regulations.
