For our client, a global market leader in supply chain management for premier fashion and lifestyle brands, we are seeking a people-oriented and results-driven Team Leader for the permanent early shift in Desteldonk. In this key position, you will become part of 'The Backstage Crew' and orchestrate daily operations on the warehouse floor. You will be responsible for optimal scheduling, driving department productivity, and ensuring strict quality standards within a high-speed e-commerce and retail environment. Thanks to your coaching skills, you know how to motivate a diverse team and continuously optimize logistical processes.
Directly manage, coach, and inspire a dedicated team of warehouse operators during the permanent early shift.
Organize, assign, and monitor daily operational planning and workloads to ensure maximum efficiency.
Oversee and optimize end-to-end warehouse processes, logistical flows, and department productivity.
Guide, onboard, and provide continuous training for both new and existing team members.
Proactively identify, propose, and implement process enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), safeguard quality controls, and ensure all outbound deadlines are met.
Troubleshoot operational issues on the floor and assist with basic HR-related processes and personnel administration.
Act as the primary point of contact during the shift and report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, stepping in to cover their responsibilities when required.
Proven track record and successful experience within a logistics or supply chain environment.
Strong insight into warehouse management processes, e-commerce flows, and the efficient coordination of operational staff.
Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
High level of stress tolerance, flexibility, and the ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English (essential for communication on the international warehouse floor). Dutch is a nice to have.
