Job description

Reporting directly to the Product Development Leader, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of new products within the RV business line. This includes product categories such as awnings, bike racks, steps, and soft goods (tents and panels).

  • You lead the development of new products from concept through to industrialization, ensuring alignment with both external requirements and internal quality standards.

  • You identify opportunities for product improvements, focusing on functionality, performance, and quality.

  • You work in accordance with the Project System, following a structured stage-gate process.

  • You act as the technical point of contact for suppliers, refining designs and ensuring manufacturability.

  • You provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including sales, product management, production, and process engineering.

  • You take ownership of product data accuracy and integrity within the PLM system.

  • You manage all phases of new product development projects, from concept creation and detailed design to prototyping, testing, and production launch.

  • You report directly to the Product Development Leader.

Requirements

  • You hold a Master's degree in Industrial Design (Electromechanics) or have equivalent professional experience.

  • You bring around 10 years of relevant experience in product development within a similar role.

  • You are a strong communicator and presenter, able to confidently pitch ideas to senior stakeholders.

  • You have solid language skills: fluent Dutch, good English, and basic knowledge of French and German.

  • You are highly skilled in industrial product and/or soft goods design; knowledge of electronics is considered a plus.

  • You have strong proficiency in 3D CAD; experience with SolidWorks is a strong advantage.

  • You take full responsibility for your projects, combining an entrepreneurial mindset with structured execution.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

  • You combine creative, conceptual thinking with a strong analytical approach.

  • You naturally align with and represent the brand identity and active lifestyle values.
