Job description

Toyota Motor Europe Safety & Health Corporate Team is looking for an individual to support its broader governance role within Toyota's European manufacturing and Supply Chain operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop Regional Internal Audit capability for Manufacturing and Supply Chain à plan, prepare, coordinate and undertake regional TESMS [Toyota Europe Safety Management System] audits at a range of Toyota's European manufacturing and supply chain operations. Such activity to make provision for development of internal auditors [selected candidates from regional operations, inc. training, audit shadowing, competence confirmation]

  • Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) Reporting – preparation for 2025 report. This entails liaison with regional coordination team, and communication with relevant regional entities to secure correct data points

  • Safety Promotion Activities: planning and preparation support role

  • Participant in Chemical Working Group 

  • Regional Procedure / Standards Development & Maintenance of associated SharePoint architecture

Requirements

  • Educational background in a related field

  • Minimum 3 year experience as prevention advisor and/or in ergonomics and/or as health & safety specialist

  • Technical background or experience in industry

  • Good communication skills

  • Methodical, good planning skills

  • Very good command of English

  • Good knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI), Oracle, Teams and Sharepoint

  • Comfortable building out a network

Languages

You have an excellent knowledge of English

<p>As part of the Product Development Compliance team, you ensure that both new and existing products are tested, verified, and approved in accordance with the strict requirements. You also define and justify required investments to the Product Development Leader.</p></li><li><p>You act as the main point of contact for the Test Center and build strong working relationships with external laboratories and knowledge centers.</p></li><li><p>You plan and coordinate testing activities both within the Test Center and with external partners.</p></li><li><p>You provide technical support to internal stakeholders such as sales, product management, production, and process engineering.</p></li><li><p>You manage and coordinate projects related to the responsibilities above.</p></li><li><p>You ensure all test reports are properly stored and accessible within the PLM system.</p></li><li><p>You stay up to date with relevant standards and ensure test methods remain current and compliant.</p></li><li><p>You are an active member of the compliance team.</p></li></ul>
