Job description

  • You are the first contact for one department and are also responsible for the overall management of that department.

  • You work independently and can consult machine manufacturers or the technical manager when needed.

  • You troubleshoot issues, adjust machines, and fine-tune them for optimal performance.

  • You minimize production downtime and carry out technical interventions.

  • You read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

  • You set intervention priorities and follow the daily action list (e.g., monitoring lubrication schedules, preparing interventions, etc.).

  • In addition to electrical issues, you also troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic problems.

Requirements

  • You have knowledge of PLC systems (ability to understand and recognize them).

  • You can detect and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

  • You are able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

  • You hold a diploma in electromechanics with a focus on electrical engineering or have equivalent experience.

  • You have a good command of Dutch and/or English.

  • Experience in a production environment is a plus.

  • Safety and quality are your top priorities.

  • You are structured and well-organized.

  • You can work both independently and as part of a team.

  • You are able to work in a smoke-free environment.
