Job description

As a senior project engineer, you will support overseas departments and be responsible for the projects assigned to you. You will have full responsibility for the project cycle, from optimal design and elaboration to implementation (no on-site management). You will also support junior project engineers in their tasks.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
You develop tailor-made logistics solutions based on the obtained technical specifications. General logistics concepts, capacity, and cost price are important parameters.
You conduct stability calculations according to current standards regarding safety, feasibility, and stability.
You prepare price quotations, including the preparation of a full technical description.
You adhere to predetermined planning and priorities.
You stay up to date with market evolutions in terms of products and customer requirements.
You work closely with sales, job preparation, and the project management department.
For the development of projects, you are assisted by technical draftsmen and junior project engineers.
You closely monitor the project budget.
You are responsible for the general technical support of your assigned foreign branches.

Requirements

You have a Master's Degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
You have 5 years of experience in a similar role.
You are willing to travel abroad if needed.
You are a team player, creative, and assertive in leading and closing a project successfully.
You are dynamic and take initiative.
You are fluent in Dutch, English, French, and/or German.
You have knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
You are open to a 100% office job.
