Job description

For our client, an international leader in high-tech machine building and coating technology, we are looking for a precise and technically minded Quality Controller. In this role, you ensure that every component and product meets the high-quality standards required for advanced industrial applications. You will be a key link in the production process, combining technical inspections with administrative follow-up and process improvement.

  • Carry out quality checks on incoming goods, products in production, and returned items based on clear work instructions and technical drawings

  • Use measuring and testing tools (such as calipers, XRF devices, and other equipment) to check dimensions, materials, and finishing quality

  • Investigate and follow up on quality issues, complaints, and returned products

  • Help organize and manage the recycling of returned materials, including registration in the system and storage in the warehouse

  • Support quality processes and audits, and help monitor the calibration of production equipment

  • Contribute ideas to improve quality and processes across the department

  • Report quality issues on time to your manager and the quality team to ensure continuous workflow

  • Uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles op inkomende goederen, producten in productie en geretourneerde artikelen op basis van duidelijke werkinstructies en technische tekeningen

  • Gebruiken van meet- en testgereedschappen (zoals schuifmaten, XRF-toestellen en andere apparatuur) om afmetingen, materialen en afwerkingskwaliteit te controleren

  • Onderzoeken en opvolgen van kwaliteitsproblemen, klachten en geretourneerde producten

  • Ondersteunen bij het organiseren en beheren van de recycling van geretourneerde materialen, inclusief registratie in het systeem en opslag in het magazijn

  • Ondersteunen van kwaliteitsprocessen en audits, en helpen bij het bewaken van de kalibratie van productieapparatuur

  • Meedenken over ideeën om de kwaliteit en processen binnen de afdeling te verbeteren

  • Tijdig rapporteren van kwaliteitsproblemen aan je manager en het kwaliteitsteam om een continue workflow te garanderen

Requirements

  • You have a technical or quality‑related background through education or experience

  • You have experience in an industrial environment, preferably in a quality function

  • You are able to read and interpret technical drawings (geometrical product specifications)

  • You have knowledge of measuring instruments, such as calipers (on-the-job training is provided where needed)

  • You have basic PC skills and are comfortable working with email, Word, Excel, and an ERP system

  • You are fluent in English and/or Dutch (written and spoken)

  • You work with great accuracy, have an eye for detail, and possess strong analytical skills
