Job description

Our client, a leading company in European flooring solutions, is seeking a strategic and passionate Risk Manager Europe. You will play a key role in protecting and growing their global operations while embracing an innovative and sustainable company culture.
Your responsibilities:
Manage risk functions across Europe, Americas, and Asia-Pacific
Collaborate with local teams, engineers, and insurance partners to assess risks and define strategies
Conduct on-site property risk assessments worldwide (travel approx. 50%)
Maintain and optimize relationships with brokers and insurers
Oversee renewal and implementation of global insurance policies
Manage claims processes and support safety and compliance initiatives
Develop and manage the annual risk management budget
Support risk-related due diligence during mergers and acquisitions

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent with 6+ years’ experience in risk or insurance
Strong knowledge of insurance industry and organizational structures
Analytical mindset, strategic thinker, and autonomous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%)
