Your role
As a Research & Development Engineer, you play a key role in developing new machines and subsystems—from concept and design to prototype testing and market readiness.
Your main responsibilities include:
Leading innovation projects and contributing creatively to new product development
Following a structured engineering process: concept design, integration, validation
Ensuring machine performance, cost-efficiency, reliability, and safety standards
Analyzing mechanical and sensor data to identify improvement opportunities
Presenting technical insights to stakeholders and documenting project results
Guaranteeing knowledge transfer within the organization through clear documentation

Requirements

Master’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in machine or system development
Skilled in CAD software; programming knowledge (Python, MATLAB) is an asset
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Results-driven, organized, and proactive mindset
Fluent in English and Dutch; knowledge of German is a strong plus
