Job description

As a machine operator in the finishing department, you are responsible for rewinding large rolls into smaller, customer-specific quantities. You set the rewind machines precisely and oversee the process, ensuring that production meets quality standards. In case of deviations, you intervene and perform quality checks on dimensions, color consistency, and product finish.
You will independently resolve small technical issues and ensure that the final product is efficiently and safely packaged. Additionally, you maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring smooth production processes. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that production is completed on time and according to the specified guidelines.
Your tasks:
• Setting up and adjusting machines according to specifications.
• Monitoring the process and intervening when deviations occur.
• Performing quality checks on dimensions, color consistency, and finish.
• Resolving small technical issues.
• Packaging the finished rolls into boxes.
• Maintaining a clean working environment.

Requirements

Professional skills:
• Experience as a machine operator is required.
• Affinity with the graphic sector is a plus.
• Attention to detail and quality-oriented work.
• Ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with physical work (standing work, lifting loads).
• Good knowledge of Dutch, French, or English (one of these languages is sufficient).
Personal skills:
• Reliability.
• Results-oriented.
• Independence.
