As part of the European Commission's kindergarten structures, we are looking for several preschool teachers to provide occasional replacements for children aged 3 to 4 years.
Your responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and supporting a group of children in a relational and educational environment, in line with the institution’s pedagogical project.
- Creating a calm, secure and stimulating environment that fosters the well-being and overall development of the children (autonomy, motor skills, social skills, language, intelligence, etc.).
- Maintaining respectful and constructive communication with parents to support the integration and growth of their child.
- Providing individual attention to each child, especially during key moments (meals, personal care, toilet training).
- Being flexible and available to work across different sites depending on operational needs.
- Proposing varied and age-appropriate activities that stimulate both motor and intellectual development, in line with the pedagogical framework.
- Accompanying children during outings (educational trips, walks, etc.) while ensuring their safety.
- Complying with hygiene and safety standards, as well as ethical rules (privacy, confidentiality, discretion).
- Collaborating flexibly and proactively with the educational team.
- Using the designated mobile application to track attendance, pickup authorisations, medical information, etc.

Requirements

Profile sought:
Education and experience (at least one of the following conditions must be met):
- A higher education diploma in preschool or primary education, or an equivalent qualification.
- OR a secondary education diploma in those same fields, granting access to higher education, plus at least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in a role related to early childhood care.
- OR a higher education diploma in another field plus at least 2 years of experience in preschool education or as a preschool teacher.
- OR a secondary education diploma in another field granting access to higher education plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- OR completion of compulsory schooling plus at least 8 years of relevant training and/or professional experience as a preschool teacher.
Other requirements:
- You must be able to provide a recent certificate of good conduct (clean criminal record).
- You have a good command of French and at least a basic knowledge of English.
