As part of the European Commission’s educational childcare services, we are looking for several educators to provide occasional replacements for children aged 4 to 12 years.
Your responsibilities include:
- Welcoming children and organizing educational, creative, or recreational activities in line with the pedagogical project of the childcare facilities (APPS).
- Creating a calm, safe, and stimulating environment that supports the well-being and development of the children.
- Assisting children during homework time (non-guided study).
- Maintaining respectful and constructive communication with parents.
- Actively participating in team meetings led by supervisors and psychopedagogues.
- Being available to work at different locations depending on operational needs.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Working in accordance with ethical guidelines (privacy, confidentiality, discretion).
- Using the designated mobile application to track attendance, movement, medical information, and pick-up authorizations.

Requirements

- Diploma of higher education in the field of education (educator or equivalent)
- Or secondary education diploma as an educator giving access to higher education + minimum 1 year of experience in the sector (including paid internships)
- Or diploma of higher education in a pedagogical field (other than educator) + minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Or diploma of higher education in another field + minimum 1 year of experience in a childcare structure
- Or secondary education diploma in another field + minimum 1 year of experience in a childcare structure
- Or no higher education diploma, but a minimum of 8 years of relevant training and/or professional experience as an educator/trice
Languages:
- Good knowledge of French
- Basic knowledge of English
