Job description

Müller-Touristik is one of Germany’s leading providers of short group and party trips. The “Meier Kurztrips” division organises city trips to, among others, Gent and Bruges.
To support our growing programme, we are looking for reliable German-speaking student assistants to guide our groups on several weekends throughout the year.
Your role
As a student tour guide, you are the face of the company on site in Gent & Bruges.
You will:
Guide and accompany German-speaking travel groups during their weekend trip
Act as the main point of contact for participants for questions and small issues
Support with basic organisational tasks on site (meeting points, timings, liaising with local partners, gathering the group, etc.)
Help create a positive atmosphere and make sure the programme runs smoothly
Schedule
Location: Gent & Bruges
When: Friday evening until Sunday morning
Hours: around 10–12 working hours per weekend
Frequency: multiple weekends throughout the year, to be agreed together

Requirements

You are fluent in German (native level or very strong).
You are communicative, social and customer-oriented.
You are reliable and keep your appointments.
You feel comfortable speaking in front of a group and taking the lead.
Nice to have:
Good command of English
Local knowledge of Gent and/or Bruges (orientation, main sights, nice spots, …)
This job is perfect for students in Tourism, Languages, Communication, Hospitality, or similar – but your personality and language skills matter most.
