Job description

  • Design machines, tools and machine elements.

  • Manage work project planning and project budget.

  • Perform other duties within the team as requested or as deemed appropriate.

  • Conform with the environmental policy and procedures and with the requirements of the environmental management system.

  • Be responsible for the development and the release of all manufacturing documents related to machine and product builds.

  • Be responsible for supporting and delivering new manufacturing technologies to improve competitiveness and project profitability.

  • Ensure Engineering Change Requests (ECR) & Manufacturing Change Requests (MCR) are followed up and implemented as projected.

Requirements

  • To promote a people first and safety first mindset

  • A degree in mechanical, design, manufacturing or electrical engineering or equivalent work experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an design engineering role

  • Math skills which include the practical use of algebra, trigonometry and analytical geometry

  • Experience using 2D and 3D modelling CAD drafting software (Autodesk Inventor skills required)

  • Ability to read, understand, and create engineering drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials)

  • Professional quality written, oral communication and technical writing skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work schedules, and accounting budgets

  • Ability to supervise and direct others in a professional manner and maintain a high degree of accuracy in all aspects of work

  • Fluent English language skills, Dutch and/or French are a plus (Dutch is the daily team communication language)
