Job description

This is your challenge:

  • You'll be liaising with customers, our own drivers and subcontractors

  • You'll convert assignments into practical, workable transport orders within our digital environment

  • Your focus will be on planning container transport. However, conventional transport will also form part of your role.

  • Together with your colleagues, you manage the transport planning module in our in-house ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics – Navision)

  • You ensure clear instructions are provided to the drivers

  • You manage the TAR/TAS arrangements at the external terminals in the port

  • You will liaise with internal operational and administrative departments

  • You will process transport documents digitally (CMRs, interchange documents, etc.)

Requirements

Your must-haves:

  • You have an excellent command of Dutch and English and a basic knowledge of French

  • You are proficient in MS Office

  • You have a background in the logistics sector

  • You can cope well under pressure

  • You are willing to work shifts (7.00–15.00 and 11.00–19.00)

  • You have knowledge of transport practices within the Port of Antwerp

  • You have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role

  • You have a bachelor's degree

Languages

You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch
You have an excellent knowledge of English
