Job description

The Project Manager is responsible “from A to Z” for managing, organizing and executing on-site a wide spectrum of (inter)national complex projects in accordance with the stow methodology.

Work preparation & project follow-up

  • Acting as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for assigned projects towards clients, subcontractors, and the stow team

  • Assessing the operational, technical, and financial feasibility of projects and anticipating risks where applicable

  • Attending kick-off meetings, technical/site meetings, commercial meetings, planning meetings, and site inspections with clients or internal stow departments

  • Ensuring all engineering and preparatory activities are completed

  • Visiting sites, setting up detailed project planning, and checking requirements for mobilization of equipment and resources

  • Clearly communicating project execution and progress

Supervision of operational activities

  • Willingness to travel to sites (approximately 50% of time)

  • Monitoring project progress and quality, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions

  • Managing operational staff and subcontractors during project execution

  • Supervising safe execution on site in accordance with QSHE regulations and administration

  • Supervising assembly methods and verifying quality of delivered materials

Contract management

  • Managing claims, identifying contract variations and delay notifications

  • Ensuring variations are communicated and negotiated with the client according to contractual requirements

Financial follow-up & administration

  • Monitoring budget and daily cost control, preparing progress reports, and initiating invoicing

  • Checking and approving all project-related incoming invoices

  • Identifying commercial opportunities and additional billable services to improve project profitability

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role

  • Fluent in Dutch, English, French and/or German

  • Willing to travel abroad (approximately 50%)

  • Strong communicator and hands-on personality

Languages

<p>As part of the Product Development Compliance team, you ensure that both new and existing products are tested, verified, and approved in accordance with the strict requirements. You also define and justify required investments to the Product Development Leader.</p></li><li><p>You act as the main point of contact for the Test Center and build strong working relationships with external laboratories and knowledge centers.</p></li><li><p>You plan and coordinate testing activities both within the Test Center and with external partners.</p></li><li><p>You provide technical support to internal stakeholders such as sales, product management, production, and process engineering.</p></li><li><p>You manage and coordinate projects related to the responsibilities above.</p></li><li><p>You ensure all test reports are properly stored and accessible within the PLM system.</p></li><li><p>You stay up to date with relevant standards and ensure test methods remain current and compliant.</p></li><li><p>You are an active member of the compliance team.</p></li></ul>
