Functieomschrijving

Purchase Order Management: Create and follow up on purchase orders from A to Z, handling various tasks from initiating purchase requests to ensuring the satisfactory delivery of materials or services.
Invoice Processing: Review and approve invoices as needed using SAP.
Supplier Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships at both national and international levels, focusing on continuous improvement for key and strategic suppliers.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers for goods and services.
New Supplier Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new suppliers.
Business Reviews: Conduct regular business reviews to ensure timely implementation of initiatives.
Cost Savings & Service Improvement: Identify and execute saving opportunities while improving service levels.
Inventory Management: Be responsible for inventory and back-order management.
Alignment with Sales & Customer Service: Ensure alignment regarding forecasts and inventory status.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate on business projects with various local and international departments.
Order Processing & Customer Service: Process orders and handle routine interactions with customers and suppliers, ensuring a service that is customer friendly and aligned with company strategy.
Project Updates: Provide regular status updates on projects and main initiatives.
Portfolio Review: Review the product portfolio and provide input and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Process Optimization: Streamline processes, adopt best practices, and implement new systems or strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Vereisten

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Preferable experience in purchasing and inventory management.
SAP: Experience with SAP is required.
Negotiation & Analysis: Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Relationship Building: Proven ability to build trust and strong relationships with internal teams, international colleagues, and external suppliers.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Languages: Excellent command of English is required. Proficiency in Dutch is preferred, and knowledge of French and German is considered a plus.
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
