In this hands-on position, you will ensure the smooth operation of our water treatment process, maintain high quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement. What You Will Be Doing
Managing the purification process: You will conduct inspection rounds, take water samples, and analyze quality levels, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
Monitoring and adjusting key parameters: Utilizing measuring equipment, you'll track indicators and intervene whenever required to maintain water quality.
Hands-on responsibilities: From dosing chemicals to overseeing automatic systems and performing minor technical adjustments, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining system efficiency.
Data reporting and optimization: You will input data into software systems (Ignition, Excel, Ultimo), analyze results, and suggest improvements for process efficiency.
Teamwork and flexibility: Collaborate with colleagues and external partners (waste collectors, lab specialists), while being flexible to work across multiple sites (Harelbeke and Nazareth).

Requirements

Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in water treatment and are considered an expert in the field.
Education: While a specific degree isn't required, a bachelor's degree in environmental technology, chemistry, or a similar field is a strong plus.
Skills: You are autonomous, take initiative, and value collaboration. Clear and effective communication is essential, especially when working closely with your colleagues.
Language proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and a basic understanding of French is necessary.
Technical aptitude: You are comfortable using office software and quickly adapt to industry-specific tools.
