Job description

The Project Engineer is responsible for designing the most efficient warehouse solution for the client, in compliance with all regulations of the Key Account.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Designing warehouse layouts optimized for maximum capacity and cost efficiency, while taking product specifications into account

  • Performing stability calculations in accordance with current safety and stability standards applicable in the relevant country, with support from the Senior Project or Static Engineer

  • Defining component configurations and calculating accurate quotation prices based on these, including the preparation of a complete technical description

  • Setting priorities across project files to ensure deadlines for preparing quotations within the department are met

  • Staying up to date with market developments regarding products and customer requirements

  • Providing technical support to the sales team during the technical presentation of the project

Requirements

Profile

  • Master or Bachelor in Engineering (direction electromechanics, industrial design …)

  • Good knowledge of Dutch & English. French is a plus 

  • You have a sense of initiative, you are stress resistant & dynamic

  • You have knowledge of stability & strength calculations

  • You have affinity with materials

  • You have a good knowledge of AutoCAD

  • You are open for a 100% office job

Languages
