Job description

Our client is a growing and innovative player in the food industry, where quality, technology and teamwork are key priorities. In a modern and highly automated logistics environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe flow of goods. As a logistics operator, you will work alongside a close-knit team and actively contribute to efficient processes and continuous improvement within the logistics department.

Duties

  • Monitoring and adjusting logistics processes to ensure continuity

  • Identifying and resolving faults or irregularities in the logistics flow

  • Carrying out minor technical maintenance on equipment

  • Operating automated systems, cranes and shuttles in the cold store

  • Analysing process data and reporting on trends

Requirements

  • Technical aptitude and an interest in automated processes

  • Forklift or reach truck certificate, or willingness to obtain one

  • Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment and at height

  • Available to work a two-shift system

  • Basic computer skills and an interest in learning new systems

  • Accurate, safety-conscious and team-oriented

  • Good knowledge of Dutch or English

Languages

You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch

This activity is done in close cooperation with local suppliers and Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Investigation of new European technologies&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p>We are inspired by the Toyota Way precepts, and we challenge to provide final customers with best quality products with the continuous improvement mindset.</p><p><b>Your responsibilities</b></p><p>The main responsibility of the open position for interim is work on the development of Brake system and components to fulfil the basic performance of chassis brakes for development, and current mass production, vehicles.&nbsp; The main activity will be to lead the project development with our brake systems suppliers and, in addition, monitor and research the market trends of brake components In the context of this project the successful candidate will perform the following activities:</p><ul><li><p>Support project development of chassis commodities (e.g. brake)&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Support technical investigation leading to quality or cost improvements&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Verification of installation requirements, technical drawings and 3D models</p></li><li><p>Summarize the evaluation reports and document the processes</p></li><li><p>Prepare functional safety status overview for quality and ISO audits</p></li><li><p>Support field investigations, trouble diagnostics and troubleshooting</p></li><li><p>Coordinate development activities with evaluation team</p></li><li><p>Research and monitor technology trends for brake systems, and components</p></li></ul><p><br/></p>
