Job description

As the Global Sales Manager – Heavy Duty (HD), you will be responsible for defining and driving the global strategy for the Heavy Duty (HD) segment. This includes strategic program development, direct business development with key OEMs and European accounts, and supporting local sales teams to convert HD distributors and fleets. This role is essential in linking sales, marketing, and product development, and plays a key role in driving global growth in the HD segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Heavy Duty Program Development: Define and continuously refine the global strategy for the HD segment (on-road and off-road). Collaborate with the HD Marketing Team and Product Development to provide strategic input and market insights.
Business Development: Lead business development initiatives focused on:
OEM Off-road service fill programs.
European Key Accounts across on- and off-road sectors.
Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, OEMs, and key decision-makers within the HD ecosystem.
Global Sales Support: Act as the subject matter expert for HD sales support across all regions.
Provide commercial coaching and training to sales teams worldwide.
Offer technical support to close complex sales cases and convert strategic fleet opportunities.
Ensure consistent messaging, tools, and strategy alignment across all markets.

Requirements

Experience and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Heavy Duty on- and off-road markets, customer segments, applications, and industry challenges.
Sales Experience: Proven experience in the lubricants industry, ideally in a similar global or regional sales role.
International Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in international sales with cultural sensitivity and the ability to influence in a matrix environment.
Network: A strong network within OEM Off-road and Independent Aftermarket (IAM) distribution channels.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English. Additional languages are a big plus.
Business Skills: Strong business acumen, project management capabilities, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and a go-getter’s attitude.
