Job description

Are you passionate about the world of pastry? Do you combine creativity, precision and attention to detail, and would you like to grow in an international and stimulating environment? The European institutions are looking for Pastry Chefs and Pastry Cooks to strengthen their kitchen brigades.
You will join a professional, dynamic and multicultural team, and play a key role in preparing desserts and sweet creations for a demanding clientele.
Your responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the sweet section of the menu.
- Design and prepare refined pastries, respecting high standards of quality and aesthetics.
- Analyse trends, propose innovative recipes, and develop technical sheets.
- Produce a wide range of items: pastries, fine chocolates, confectionery, ice creams, and sorbets.
- Operate various pastry tools with accuracy and care.
- Ensure mise en place: prepare doughs, creams, fruits; bake (biscuits, cakes, tarts); finish and decorate desserts.
- Guarantee both the visual appeal and flavour quality of all creations.
- Follow recipes and manage the full production process, from raw ingredients to final decoration.

Requirements

Profile required:
- Professional training in a culinary school or technical/vocational education in pastry (ETC).
- Minimum 5 years of experience for Pastry Chefs.
- Solid knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and well-organised.
- Ability to work effectively within a structured team.
- Wearing professional attire is mandatory: chef jacket and trousers (preferably black) and safety shoes.
- A clean criminal record (police clearance certificate) is required.

Languages

You have a very good knowledge of French
You have a very good knowledge of English
